My Wednesday, September 11th Political Misfits discussion with John Kiriakou and Michelle Witte on Trump-Harris debate and repercussions, and Andrew Cuomo’s Congressional interrogation re his Covid nursing home policy.
I think this guy's video could counter some of the takeaway for Harris that you guys discussed. I believe this guy is intuitively correct and that a significant "unpolled" part of the populace sees through the glossy, fake PR of the Harris campaign. And it seems this includes more and more younger people AND blacks and other minorities. In California, Gloria Romero, a career establishment political bellwether for Hispanics in the state, just quit the Democrat party and I believe registered Republican. That signifies something significant.
I don't know how much the debate will affect the vote. Barring anything crazy (and crazy is possible) Trump is going to do better among blacks, hispanics ,et. al. (as he did better in 2020 than in 2016). But solely in terms of the debate "performance" (and that's what it was), the net immediate benefit was to Kamala. Even most Trump surrogates admit it.

Thanks for that. I liked DeVory. Glenn Greenwald also did a nice takedown of the moderators https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7jrWYm1Jh8
I could have put more emphasis on that point.
